Lam Ky Noodle and Sweet

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Lam Ky Noodle and Sweet, and it was definitely one of the few restaurants I can honestly say was a fantastic spot for a casual dining experience. It's definitely not your run of the mill type of restaurant as table booking is definitely on a first come first serve kind of basis, so make sure you make your presence well known and if you see an empty table kindly ask the staff if you may occupy, and I'm sure they will accomodate you as they did for myself. I ordered the Pork Wonton Noodle Soup, and to say it was delicious is an understatement, the soup not only fed me well but it touched my heart as well as my soul. It was like tasting your grandma's cooking and you get that warm feeling of care, love and dedication. The broth was so rich and flavourful, and warmed my body and soul negating the cold weather outside, the noodles were nice and al dente, and the wontons were full and tasty. The rest of my group ordered the Chicken Pho and, the Cubed Steak and Tomato Rice, they shared a similar experience, singing praises of the quality of their culinary delights. Service of course was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience, and the casual ambiance of the restaurant made it a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal without any fuss. In conclusion, if you're in the mood for casual Vietnamese cuisine that most definitely will hit the spot, Lam Ky Noodle and Sweet is a fantastic choice. (I almost forgot to mention it is very decently priced especially for the times we live in now, we paid around 50 total for our meals, so for the portions and quality we received I believe it is unbelievably justified)

I used to visit other popular Vietnamese Crispy Chicken places but ever since this place opened I’ve been going here regularly for a long time. This place has much more affordable prices and the food quality tastes much cleaner and better too. Continuing to be a repeat customer and highly recommend ordering from here.

One of my fave places to eat if i am in Cabra. The soup that i ordered was near perfect for me. :)

Really good crispy chicken with tomato rice. I would prefer to go here now due to the other restaurants always have a long queue. Here is always full and busy but no crazy long queue. Their crispy chicken with dry noodle also great. Tried their mix noodle combination and it blew my mind. Great taste, full of mixed meats and big portion for the price. Definitely give this a try next time you are in the area.

The name/logo may feature crispy chicken, but they actually have quite a large menu of other chicken/pork noodle and rice dishes too. The #3 crispy chicken egg noodle soup (18) was great - good portion of tender crispy chicken, generous amount of noodles too with garlic chives, fried garlic, lettuce, raw bean sprouts - the usual good stuff. The nuoc cham is just a tad bit mellow/watered down for my liking. The #31 banh canh gio heo (17) was great too! The pork leg slices are really tender and have a yummy pork flavour - hard to describe but it was a fragrant pork taste, not gamey.

Recently returned from a visit to the homeland and thought we would visit Cabra to reminisce. The staff at Lam Ky were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and had all the necessary condiments to satisfy everyone’s needs. The complimentary tea was so magical. I could taste coconut but I should asked what’s in it. So nice. The food was soooo good. Chicken and Pork. Iced coffee rounded things up nicely. Highly recommend and will be back for sure.

Best crispy chicken to bring yourself and or family/ friends to eat. Friendly and welcoming staff which can be hard to find in the area. My family had the crispy chicken with egg and rice noodle . I had their mix dry noodle combination and amazing taste. highly recommended if you are in the area.
